Night Of Giving 2025:
On Wednesday, April 23rd, the USCBP Rotary, Breakfast Club broke all its records and topped its charitable donations by a whopping 18% at this years’ Night of Giving.
Who knew that selling 2,000 chicken dinners would lead to so much good? We sure did--because of all of you and your amazing support! Click here to see all the local businesses who helped make this the most successful Night of Giving yet.
“36 charities received a total of $65K in grant donations,” said Leigh Harkreader, USCBP Rotary Breakfast Club President. Charities will use the grant money for an array of items including special needs musical theater camps, new freezers, sheet music, personal security devices, hay, soccer and basketball camps, building gardens and food support, but they truly deliver so much more. “From stability, safety & security, leadership, compassion, empowerment and ultimately dignity, these charities collectively change lives. And we are thrilled to be a part of it,” said Harkreader.
The Night of Giving is the culminating event that is a direct result of the Upper St. Clair Bethel Park, Rotary Breakfast Clubs’ annual Chicken BBQ held each fall at Bethel Park High School. The event raised just over $70k and after all expenses were paid, the club was able to donate $65k to local charities through the grant application process that happens in late winter.
Next year’s event date has been set for Saturday, October 11th at Bethel Park High School.
